Expiry Matters, Concept, Storytelling — With Liliana Saldanha

Expiry Matters is a project I started with my longtime friend and partner in experimental ventures, Liliana Saldanha. Together, we want to explore new ways of contributing to a vision of the world we believe is possible. In the process, we felt the need to observe other views and perspectives of life on earth, to listen to different voices. First came the Podcast. Then, One Million People, One Forest.

Our goal was to create a micro-ecosystem that connects people, ideas, and action. In partnership with Tourism of Portugal, a deactivated train station in Alentejo was envisioned as a hub for climate resilience and collaboration — a space for creatives, researchers, institutions, and communities to explore nature-first, ground-up solutions and deepen their connection with the living world.

As Art Director at Pato Lógico, I worked on the design of books while reshaping the publisher’s visual identity. This meant extending its presence beyond publications, allowing it to unfold across social media, events, and print materials as a living visual system.
